世界的中心是一棵螺丝树，是他们最伟大的创作，旁边是他们温暖的家园，每个机器人都利用废铁建造了一个属于自己的家，有的是用磁铁、有的是用音箱…等废弃物来建造，不仅符合环保的潮流，更是符合他们的个性，此外，他们还制作了白天、黑夜以及日月星辰，只要激活一个小小的机关就可以切换昼夜，有如真实的世界。在这个奇妙的世界里，住着一大群机器人，每一个机器人都有特殊的个性与专长，而他们的名字也与他们的个性与外貌息息相关。这部动画十分发人深省，希望对小朋友传达几个重要的概念，人类必须要在社群里生活，大家和平相处互相帮助，运用逻辑思考解决问题，同时也要发展个人的特色与才能，创造一个独特的个体，此外，还宣导环保观念，发挥创造力让废物成为有用的东西，来保护我们宝贵的地球。
